Facilities: The 13,000 square foot Ennis Public Library contains a modern 48 seat multi-media Learning Center with state-of-the-art computer generated graphics and Internet connectivity capabilities.
Services: Provided as a public service are nine publicly accessible personal computers. Each of these computers is equipped with Internet capabilities and accesses the automated card catalog. Four computers are available in a computer lab where instruction is provided as needed. A staff of three librarians plus support staff is available to assist patrons in research, inter-library loans, and book and video selections as well.
Reference Services: The library also contains a regional history room for genealogical studies with emphasis on Ellis County and Czech resources.
Equipment: Overhead projection system with a 9 foot X 10 foot screen: auxiliary to this system are laser disks, VCR, and computer generated graphic presentations with ISDN Internet capability. In addition, the Learning Center is equipped with five (5) built-in microphones and eight (8) speakers. (T-1interactive video conferencing capability to be available January 1, 2001.)
Availability: This high-tech center is available for use by our citizens, schools, businesses, and industries on a reservation basis.

The brand new Comfort Suites, located at 400 S. I-45, offers a spacious meeting room and a breakfast room that would be perfect for your next meeting.
The meeting room is 570 square feet, seating 36 people max classroom style, U- Shape, or Hollow Square-shape. This room seats 50 people Theatre style (chairs only) or Banquet style (tables and chairs).
The breakfast room is 1,400 square feet and can seat 75 people.
There is a $50 non-refundable deposit and fees will vary according to the amount of time rented. Food and Beverage service is also available. Catering will be an additional fee of $25.00. Guest is responsible for all catering charges. Meeting rooms must be reserved through the manager of Comfort Suites.
